Garage cleanouts in Dallas-Fort Worth
Walk the garage with the crew, point at what goes, and park your car inside by the afternoon. Sorting, hauling, and donating are all on us.
From "we should deal with this" to done in one morning
Every garage in Texas ends up the same way: the car in the driveway and ten years of maybes inside. Hero’s crews clear single and two-car garages across DFW in one visit. You decide what stays, we do everything else: carrying, loading, sorting donatables out of the pile, and hauling it all off. Prefer to sort first? Our garage cleanout checklist walks you through the four-pile method our crews use.
How pricing works (no surprises)
- One firm number: the crew walks the garage with you, sees exactly what is going, and quotes it before anything is loaded.
- Quoted before loading: the crew looks at the pile, gives you the number, and nothing moves until you approve it.
- Heavy material flagged upfront: concrete, dirt, and shingles in the corners get priced honestly on the spot, not discovered on the invoice.
More on how the service works: How junk removal works in DFW. Old fridges and freezers in the corner go out under appliance removal, leftover remodel material under construction debris, and what we will and will not take settles the paint-can question.
What is included in every cleanout
- Two-person crew, dollies, and bins for loose items
- Point-and-go sorting, or hands-off hauling of a pre-sorted go pile
- Donation routing for tools, bikes, and gear that still work
- Metal, cardboard, and e-waste separated for recycling
One heads-up: paint, motor oil, gasoline, propane, and pesticides cannot ride on the truck under Texas disposal rules. Most DFW cities take them free at household hazardous waste centers. Dallas runs the Home Chemical Collection Center, Plano has household chemical collection, and the EPA explains why these are handled separately. We will point you to your city's program when we quote the job.
Frequently asked questions
How long does a garage cleanout take?
Most take one to three hours with a two-person crew, including loading and haul-off. Heavily packed garages run longer, and we give you a realistic window on sight.
Do I need to sort before the crew arrives?
No. Pointing works. Pre-sorting into keep and go areas speeds loading.
What garage items can you not take?
Household hazardous waste: paint, oil, antifreeze, gasoline, propane, pesticides. Your city's hazardous waste program takes them, usually free.
How is a garage cleanout quoted in DFW?
The crew walks the garage with you, sees what is going, and gives you a firm number on the spot. Always approved upfront before anything is loaded.
